Hi all,
I'm using Hardy with latest mono compiled from sources (1.9.1), and banshee compiled from svn (2008-05-04). When using compiz (only), if I click in the menu "Edit" in banshee ui, and I put the mouse over the option "Add to playlist", the whole desktop freezes, nor shows up the sub-menu. The music goes on, but I have to kill banshee from a tty to get my desktop back. Here I attach the banshee debug output. Compiz version: 0.7.4-0ubuntu6 Regards, Pedro Output: [Info 02:46:06.599] Running Banshee 0.98.4 [Debug 02:46:07.384] NDesk.DBus.Bus.Session.RequestName ('org.bansheeproject.Banshee') => PrimaryOwner [Debug 02:46:07.388] Core service started (DBusServiceManager, 0,108089s) [Debug 02:46:07.412] Opened SQLite connection to /home/pipiten/.config/banshee-1/banshee.db [Debug 02:46:07.412] Core service started (DbConnection, 0,023483s) [Debug 02:46:07.430] Database version 9 is up to date [Debug 02:46:07.445] Core service started (PreferenceService, 0,013756s) [Debug 02:46:07.454] Core service started (SourceManager, 0,008804s) [Debug 02:46:07.673] Core service started (MediaProfileManager, 0,219694s) [Debug 02:46:07.680] Core service started (PlayerEngine, 0,006627s) [Debug 02:46:07.684] Configuration client extension loaded (Banshee.GnomeBackend.GConfConfigurationClient) [Debug 02:46:07.732] IO provider extension loaded (Banshee.IO.Unix.Provider) [Debug 02:46:07.739] Core service started (TranscoderService, 0,010532s) [Debug 02:46:07.741] Core service started (PlaybackController, 0,00173s) [Debug 02:46:07.742] Core service started (ImportSourceManager, 8E-05s) [Debug 02:46:07.746] Core service started (LibraryImportManager, 0,004687s) [Debug 02:46:07.747] Core service started (UserJobManager, 0,000994s) [Debug 02:46:07.760] Core service started (HardwareManager, 0,012336s) [Debug 02:46:07.781] Adding icon theme search path: /usr/local/share/banshee-1/icons [Debug 02:46:07.782] Core service started (GtkElementsService, 0,022071s) [Debug 02:46:07.834] Core service started (InterfaceActionService, 0,052196s) [Debug 02:46:07.835] Core service started (ArtworkManager, 0,00074s) [Debug 02:46:08.362] Core service started (NereidPlayerInterface, 0,526975s) [Debug 02:46:08.366] Using GNOME 2.22 API for Multimedia Keys [Debug 02:46:08.367] Extension service started (MultimediaKeysService, 0,003615s) [Debug 02:46:08.506] GStreamer pipeline does not run: audioconvert ! xingenc bitrate=128 ! id3v2mux [Debug 02:46:08.560] GStreamer pipeline does not run: audioconvert ! fluwmaenc bitrate=64000 vbr=false ! fluasfmux [Debug 02:46:08.561] Extension service started (GStreamerCoreService, 0,193468s) [Debug 02:46:08.570] Player state change: NotReady -> Ready [Debug 02:46:08.579] Player state change: Ready -> Idle [Debug 02:46:08.582] Extension service started (GnomeService, 0,000657s) [Debug 02:46:08.699] Extension service started (NotificationAreaService, 0,116747s) [Info 02:46:08.700] All services are started 1,423582s [Info 02:46:09.713] nereid Client Started [Debug 02:46:11.161] Player state change: Idle -> Loading [Debug 02:46:11.300] Player state change: Loading -> Loaded [Debug 02:46:11.314] Player state change: Loaded -> Playing [Debug 02:46:12.321] TrackInfoDisplay RenderAnimation: 30,00 FPS Domain: 'Gtk' Level: Critical Message: gtk_widget_event: assertion `WIDGET_REALIZED_FOR_EVENT (widget, event)' failed Trace follows: at GLib.Log.PrintTraceLogFunction(System.String domain, LogLevelFlags level, System.String message) at GLib.Log.PrintTraceLogFunction(IntPtr , LogLevelFlags , IntPtr ) at Gtk.Application.gtk_main() at Gtk.Application.gtk_main() at Gtk.Application.Run() at Banshee.Gui.GtkBaseClient.Run() at Banshee.Gui.GtkBaseClient.Startup() at Hyena.Gui.CleanRoomStartup.Startup(Hyena.Gui.StartupInvocationHandler startup) at Banshee.Gui.GtkBaseClient.Entry() at Nereid.Client.Main() Domain: 'Gtk' Level: Critical Message: gtk_widget_event: assertion `WIDGET_REALIZED_FOR_EVENT (widget, event)' failed Trace follows: at GLib.Log.PrintTraceLogFunction(System.String domain, LogLevelFlags level, System.String message) at GLib.Log.PrintTraceLogFunction(IntPtr , LogLevelFlags , IntPtr ) at Gtk.Application.gtk_main() at Gtk.Application.gtk_main() at Gtk.Application.Run() at Banshee.Gui.GtkBaseClient.Run() at Banshee.Gui.GtkBaseClient.Startup() at Hyena.Gui.CleanRoomStartup.Startup(Hyena.Gui.StartupInvocationHandler startup) at Banshee.Gui.GtkBaseClient.Entry() at Nereid.Client.Main() Domain: 'Gtk' Level: Critical Message: gtk_widget_event: assertion `WIDGET_REALIZED_FOR_EVENT (widget, event)' failed Trace follows: at GLib.Log.PrintTraceLogFunction(System.String domain, LogLevelFlags level, System.String message) at GLib.Log.PrintTraceLogFunction(IntPtr , LogLevelFlags , IntPtr ) at Gtk.Application.gtk_main() at Gtk.Application.gtk_main() at Gtk.Application.Run() at Banshee.Gui.GtkBaseClient.Run() at Banshee.Gui.GtkBaseClient.Startup() at Hyena.Gui.CleanRoomStartup.Startup(Hyena.Gui.StartupInvocationHandler startup) at Banshee.Gui.GtkBaseClient.Entry() at Nereid.Client.Main() ... _______________________________________________ Banshee-list mailing list [hidden email] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/banshee-list |

Before filing, you should always search to make sure the bug hasn't already been filed and maybe even fixed. This particular bug is already filed at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=524706 Gabriel _______________________________________________ Banshee-list mailing list [hidden email] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/banshee-list |
