Ipod Classic not Detected by Banshee

I installed Banshee to use with my iPod
But it does not detect my iPod Classic
Does it need any plugin or something?
Ubuntu tough does detect it with Rhythmbox(Which I removed because I hate that app), but Banshee just doesn't :(
Can anybody help
