Hi all:
First & not sure if this is an obvious question but I was wondering how one might manually add cover art to an album where it's missing? In iTunes, I can drag an image onto the track/album properties and it sets it up. Second, I noticed that if I double-click on an album that doesn't have cover-art (in the albums panel), an attempt is made to download that cover-art - which makes sense. However, if I select a completely unrelated album and double-click on its CD icon, then underneath the "Downloading cover art" text, appears the track name from the last album I was playing. Is this a bug? Cheers Steve. _______________________________________________ Banshee-list mailing list [hidden email] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/banshee-list |

In Banshee 0.13.x it was possible to drag custom album art onto the small album art thumbnail near the progress meter. However, in Banshee 1.0, it has not been implemented. So currently the only way to use custom album art is to save it as ~/.cache/album-art/$artist-$album.jpg where $artist is the artist, in lower case and stripped of spaces, and $album is the album, in lower case and stripped of spaces. -- Hyperair _______________________________________________ Banshee-list mailing list [hidden email] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/banshee-list |

Something like this was in 0.13.x and will surely added to 1.x soon. Right now you will have to add files manually to ~/.cache/album-art/ > Second, I noticed that if I double-click on an album that doesn't have > cover-art (in the albums panel), an attempt is made to download that > cover-art - which makes sense. Is this a bug? I can confirm this. I filed a bug¹ for this so feel free to CC yourself.
